So… this month, I’m starting a new series on my blog where each month I’ll post a round up of all my activity and fun within the #Community! We’ll look at blog content, fun events that’ve happened, and loads more!
#MVPBuzz
So the start of February was kicked off with something kinda crazy! I was super surprised to have a pretty awesome email in my inbox awarding me with the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award for the Business Applications category! 🤯
It goes without saying again a huge thank you to Charlie Phipps for nominating me for this award and to everyone else who has supported me in my career and with #Community interaction so far. #CommunityLuv #CommunityRocks #MVPBuzz
#MVPBuzz chat with Christian Buckley
Not long after receiving my award I was super excited to be having a chat with Christian Buckley on his #MVPBuzz chat show! It was great talking to Christian about my #Community journey so far, and I can’t wait to share this once it’s gone live! 💖
FE & HE Microsoft Community Skills Call
A big thank you goes to Gemma Robson and Claire Riley for inviting me to present on the Microsoft Further EDU & Higher EDU community skills call this month. It was so awesome to share my journey and some of the upcoming Power Platform features from Release Wave 1 with the EDU community!
I was also lucky enough to spend some time on a 1:1 call with someone from the EDU community guiding them through some Power Platform introductions. We had a great chat about the available developer environments recently announced by the Power CAT team, and chatted some things about digital in the Education sector and how EDU I.T. team and digital commonly sit separately, sometimes with positives, and sometimes with less.
Interest Check for #NHSEmpower – More than applause – Buildathon Day
After some hard work with my co-chair and team of #NHSEmpower – More than applause volunteers, we were super happy to share out an interest check this month for the #NHSEmpower – More than applause – Buildathon day for the NHS to celebrate the NHS’s 75th birthday and give something back to front line and clinical staff through the means of a new skill they can develop, through a fun day of hacking!
If you haven’t yet filled out the interest check form, please take a look here – Interest Check for #NHSEmpower – More than applause Power Platform Hackathon (microsoft.com)
Community Day with D365PPUG UK at Microsoft TVP Reading
It was so so awesome to be together with some of the UK MSFT Low Code Community in a day with the D365PPUG’s at Microsoft TVP Reading.
I loved attending some awesome sessions at this event, specifically those from AJ Zafar, Laura G-B and Chris Huntingford. It’s an understatement to say that I learnt loads at these sessions and the content was mind blowing.
It goes without saying again that a huge thank you goes to Andrew Bibby and the team of organisers with D365PPUG UK who put these events together. Thank you all! 🫶

Power Platform School
This month I’ve started working with the Power Platform school to provide 1:1 support for learners who need assistance with issues they’ve come across in their learning pathways with Power Platform School. If someone has a technical issue they’re struggling on, I’m lucky enough to be able to now help these learners, and spread knowledge of Power Platform even further! 💖
